Staff / Sr. Staff Full Stack Developer

For more than forty-five years, we have partnered with the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community to develop innovative remote sensing tools and mission solutions.
We are seeking Staff / Sr. Staff Full Stack Developers to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills..
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems
- Follow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code
- Identify and resolve issues found in existing code
- Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
- Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
- Communicate status and technical details with customers
The following minimum qualifications are required for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant STEM field
- Active DoD SECRET clearance or higher
- U.S. Citizenship required
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- 3+ years experience writing, maintaining, debugging, and testing code
- Experience developing web applications
- Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Python, and/or Golang, NodeJS
- Experience with frontend Single Page Application frameworks (i.e., React, Vue, and Angular)
- Experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:
- Experience with software container development (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with a variety of data storage technologies (document stores, object stores, relational databases, etc)
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines including ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance

The pay range for this position is $88,000-$130,000. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
