Champion Personnel is hiring Sign Installation Technicians for a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity in Eastlake, Ohio, starting at $25–$30 per hour. This first-shift position runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available.
As a Sign Installation Technician, you'll work with an experienced installation crew to install, repair, and maintain commercial signs and lighting systems throughout Northeast Ohio and occasionally other parts of the state.
Daily responsibilities include reading blueprints and work orders, using hand and power tools, preparing installation sites by digging holes and mounting signs, performing basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting, and working from bucket trucks at heights of 60 feet or more when needed. This is a physically active, outdoor position that requires lifting 50–60 pounds, climbing, bending, and working in all weather conditions. Candidates with experience in construction, installation, concrete work, landscaping, roofing, utility work, electrical work, or other hands-on skilled trades are encouraged to apply.
A valid driver's license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are required, while previous sign installation experience, a CDL Class A or B, and blueprint reading skills are a plus.
