Pharmacy Technician – Remote (Ohio Only)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm or 9:30am–6:00pm EST
Employment Type: Full-Time (40+ hours/week)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our remote digital pharmacy team. This non-dispensing pharmacy environment offers a unique opportunity to support prescription processing, patient experience, and operational excellence. Candidates must be PTCB-certified and hold an active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license to be considered.

This role provides opportunities for cross-training, project involvement, and potential conversion to full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day digital pharmacy functions, including prescription processing, case troubleshooting, call triage, and automation oversight.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and operational resource for digital pharmacy workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient experience and operational improvements.
• Assist with projects focused on advancing digital pharmacy services and optimizing operations.
• Partner with internal and external vendors to support software programs, provide feedback, and assist with system updates.
• Follow all pharmacy and organizational policies and procedures.
• Support the Pharmacist in Charge in maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Maintain flexibility to work extended, evening, or weekend hours in the future.

Required Qualifications

• Active PTCB National Certification (non-negotiable)
• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License (non-negotiable)
• 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy, medical, or customer service setting (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
• Reliability and consistent attendance, especially during the first 90 days
• High school diploma or GED
