Senior Public Sector Account Executive

We are recruiting a Senior Enterprise Account Executive for a mission-driven SaaS company seeking an accomplished enterprise seller with experience serving state and county Health and Human Services agencies. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates throughout the United States, with responsibility for the Midwest and Southeast territory and approximately 40%–60% travel.

This is a true hunter role focused on developing new government customers and closing complex, multi-year software agreements. The strongest candidates will have sold solutions supporting economic assistance, child support, child welfare, caseworker workflows, or closely related human services programs.

Customer Success manages renewals and long-term client relationships, allowing you to concentrate on building pipeline and winning new business.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new business with state and county Health and Human Services agencies

• Manage the complete sales cycle through procurement and contract execution

• Build territory plans around agency priorities, funding cycles, compliance requirements, and modernization initiatives

• Navigate lengthy government buying processes involving multiple stakeholders

• Lead executive presentations and value-based sales conversations

• Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting in HubSpot

• Collaborate with product, delivery, implementation, and executive leadership teams

• Represent the company at government meetings, executive briefings, and industry events

What You’ll Bring

• Successful SaaS sales experience within Health and Human Services programs

• Knowledge of economic assistance, child support, child welfare, case management, or caseworker workflow environments

• Consistent success meeting or exceeding enterprise sales quotas

• Experience closing complex state or county government agreements

• Understanding of public-sector procurement, contracts, and purchasing vehicles

• Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning skills

• Ability to travel regularly throughout the Midwest and Southeast

Candidates who previously worked in this market but have spent the past few years in another SaaS sector may also be considered.
