Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrols in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will perform routine patrols, remain highly visible to the public, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and a supportive presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at government locations by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or identify potential hazards.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed in the event of an incident.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols in company-provided logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
