SUMMARY

Responsible for creating, documenting, developing all APQP documents relating to new product launches and training the operational groups to secure a successful PPAP and launch of all new programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• · Lead all APQP functions as it relates to new programs culminating in successful launch of said programs.
• · Assist in developing and training all operational groups of processes and requirements that relate to the launch of new programs.
• · Understand, communicate and train all operational personnel on customer specific requirements.
• · Lead / participate in corrective action audits and problem solving teams to support Continuous Improvements to meet performance criteria once a new program is launched.
• · Perform Process Capabilities and measurement studies using statistical techniques as necessary to support new program launch and GDT requirements.
• · Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to support quality, cost and customer expectations.
• · Familiar with customer specific Quality System requirements
• · Responsibility to act as liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to new program requirements.
• · Assist in training of new Quality group associates as needed.
• · Must be an integral part of the Program Management Launch team.
• · Support IATF and ISO 14001 requirements..
• · Audit vendor PPAP’s production materials.
• · Read and Interpret GD & T
• · Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
