BRT Extrusions is a leading National Aluminum Extrusion manufacturing company located in Niles, Ohio. We are looking for a full time Sales and Quoting Assistant for our expanding sales department. If you are dynamic, motivated and detail oriented, read on! We offer a competitive starting wage!

This is a non-exempt position, and the hourly wage will be based on experience up to 22$/hour.

Sales and Quoting Assistant

A person in this role will quote projects/pricing for new and potential customers with guidance from the Sales Manager and Quoting Supervisor. The Sales and Quoting Assistant will enter and track data into our manufacturing software (CRM). This person will follow up and offer support to answer questions and/or concerns and work closely with sales to effectively streamline the process and support the customer through the close of the sale and beyond.

Requirements to be successful as a Sales and Quoting Assistant :

• Solid knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• A high degree of personal motivation and drive to achieve short- and long-term business and career goals/objectives
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.
• Must have very strong attention to detail and strong data entry experience.
• Knowledge of CRMs like Zoho or other Customer Relationship Management Systems is a plus.
• 2 years' experience in a business-to-business sales preferred
• Effective relationship building and negotiation skills required
• Ability to effectively communicate, build rapport and relate well to a diverse group of customers
• Ability to enter data quickly and efficiently and submit quotes to our current and potential customers
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time (customer support/marketing)
• Ability to work at a faster than normal pace while still paying close attention to the details.

Responsibilities of the Sales and Quoting Assistant:

• Follow up on sales inquiries.
• Research potential customer targets.
• Email and call identified prospects using our CRM.
• Speak directly with purchasing managers and engineers.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Meet and exceed established goals and objectives.
• Quote new projects, answer questions pertaining to our products.
• Complete quotes and projects in a timely and accurate manner.

Physical requirements:

An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn frequently. An individual in this role will need to be always aware of movement and/or noises around them when in the plant. An individual in this role must move 5lbs frequently and up to 10lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will remain stationary and move about an office setting as needed per essential duties of the position. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing. This position will require frequent use office equipment: phone, fax, computer and all other office equipment as part of the essential functions of the role. This person in this role may travel on an occasional basis, but will most likely be working in an office setting most of the time.
