Mercy Health is looking for a Family Medicine faculty physician who thrives in both patient care and academic mentorship. Based at Lighthouse Way Family Medicine , this full-time faculty role offers a fulfilling mix of outpatient clinical practice and active participation in our long-standing, ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.

You'll join a supportive, experienced faculty team that values meaningful relationshipswith patients, residents, and colleaguesand works collaboratively to shape the next generation of family physicians. This is a core faculty position, with protected time for teaching and program responsibilities, as well as the opportunity to grow into academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Split your time between precepting residents and seeing your own patients (11.5 days/week)
• Round on the inpatient service every 46 weeks (Thursday to Thursday)
• Participate in resident education through didactics, lectures, mentorship, and recruitment
• Serve on program committees such as the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) and Program Evaluation Committee (PEC)
• Take part in a predictable and collegial call rotation
• Contribute to the academic life and continued success of a respected, mission-driven residency program
• Youll be credentialed at Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital and affiliated facilities throughout the Toledo region.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
• A genuine interest in academic medicine and resident education
• Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
• Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required
