Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS preferred; OCN preferred; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Oncology experience preferred but not required - Skills in IV starts, telemetry, tracheostomy management Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with specialty in MS/Tele. This position involves working with mixed acuity patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both based on department needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every four weeks, but changes are not guaranteed. This role requires the ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Experience in administration of chemotherapy and management of dysrhythmias is a plus. Daily census includes adult and geriatric patients, focusing on head and neck cancers and neuro-oncology. Additional unit responsibilities may include tracheostomy care and drain management. There will be a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety. Candidates must complete a fingerprinting process as part of credentialing requirements. A minimum of two professional references is required for submission.
