Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: On Site in Wooster, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Salary: $41,600 - $45,760

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner

• Record incoming payments and apply them to the correct accounts

• Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow up on outstanding invoices

• Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and discrepancies

• Prepare and reconcile accounts receivable reports and aging summaries

• Post and reconcile daily cash receipts

• Support month-end closing activities and assist with account reconciliations

• Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files and payment records

• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, and customer service) to resolve billing or payment issues

• Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reporting, or supporting accounts payable when needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)

• Strong Excel and data entry skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
