Sandwich Artist Positions
We are currently interviewing to fill Sandwich Artist positions at our North Olmsted Walmart Subway, including closers, a weekend openers, and day shift employees. Scheduling is flexible and can be set to have a consistent schedule week to week. Pay is weekly via direct deposit. We are looking for team members who are punctual, communicative, respectful, conscious of food safety (don't worry we can train you), and excited to offer guests great customer service. Sr Sandwich Artists are the lead on shift; handling customer complaints, ensuring food safety regulations are followed, and job tasks are complete before the shift ends.
As part of the Subway team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:
- Providing an excellent guest experience
- Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
- Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful
- Controlling inventory
- Scheduling and supervising staff
- Being a team player
In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
- Cascading training to Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilities
- Scheduling and supervising staff
- Practicing inventory control standards
- Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
- Completing paperwork as needed

Prerequisites:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
Essential functions:
Communication and organizational skills
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
