As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist guests and team members with professionalism. Using computer or tablet systems as needed, you will communicate clearly and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees in a retail and mall environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail spaces, common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity to help support authorized access and report potential policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
