Receptionist medical

• Greet patients warmly and provide a positive first impression of the practice.
• Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
• Verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays and managing patient files.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.
• Handle confidential patient information with discretion and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically Epic, for appointment scheduling and patient data entry.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, faxing, and mailing documents.

• Previous experience in a medical office or similar setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is advantageous.
