6–12 Grade Band Teacher – York Public Schools

York Public Schools is accepting applications for a 6–12 Grade Band Teacher to join our music department. We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and student-centered educator to inspire and develop students’ musical talents across middle and high school levels.

Position Details:

• Full-time, certified teaching position (Grades 6–12)

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and delivering engaging instruction for band students across grades 6–12
• Directing concert bands, pep bands, and other performance ensembles

• Communicating effectively with students, families, and staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain) with Music/Band endorsement
• Strong musical, teaching, and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students at multiple grade levels
• Experience directing bands and preparing performances preferred
