Location: Cincinnati, Ohio – Hybrid. After onboarding and training, enjoy a flexible schedule with approximately four days per week in the office and one day remote.
Note: Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 2+ years of accounting experience supporting real estate development, construction accounting, construction draws, job costing, or project accounting.

Job Description
- Support the complete accounting lifecycle for real estate development projects from pre-development through construction and transition to operations.
- Prepare and reconcile construction loan draws, equity draws, and project funding requests.
- Track project costs, construction-in-progress balances, job costs, and project cash flow.
- Assist with project closings, financing schedules, bank account setup, and funding documentation.
- Partner with development managers, lenders, investors, auditors, and accounting teams throughout each project.
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, forecasts, and development workpapers.
- Support tax credit reporting and compliance for affordable housing and historic redevelopment projects.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and project financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate accounting records while ensuring compliance with financing and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and financial accuracy across development projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience with real estate development accounting, construction accounting, project accounting, or construction job costing.
- Experience preparing construction draws and tracking project costs.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with Yardi or another real estate ERP is a plus.
- Experience with LIHTC, Historic Tax Credits, or New Markets Tax Credits is preferred but not required.
