Press Helpers Job Description

Are you a skilled individual with experience in manufacturing with equipment troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving? Do you have a background in packaging and are familiar with machine setups for production runs? If so, we are looking for Press Helpers to join our team at our facility located in Navarre, OH, 44662.

Monday - Friday (6 am - 2:30 pm)

Overview:

As a Press Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. Your expertise in setup, equipment troubleshooting and mechanical skills will be essential in maintaining the efficiency of our machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
• Assist with machine setups for production runs
• Operate and maintain machinery such as Corrugated Presses, Slitter Machines, Flexographic Printing Press, Gluer Machines, and Box Folding and Gluing Machine
• Ensure packaging materials meet quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Qualifications:

• Experience in equipment troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving
• Prior packaging or press experience
• Knowledge of shop math skills with ability to read tape measures
• Familiarity with Slitter Machine, Flexograph Presses, Gluer Machine, and Box Folding and/or Gluing Machine
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work occasional overtime
