What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on assigned vehicles.
• Communicate repair needs and progress with the service advisor and parts department.
• Document all services performed and recommended on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer-sponsored training to stay current with evolving technologies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Supervise and mentor apprentice technicians when assigned.
• Follow all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.

What You Bring

• Experience: 2–4+ years as a diesel technician, automotive technician, or related role.
• Education: Associate’s or technical degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience accepted.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency with shop tools, diagnostic software, and repair procedures.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.

Location: Missoula, MT

Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Range: $32 – $37 per hour
