Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Ohio
- Current Ohio Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based experience advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering positive learning experiences for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Monitor, document, and evaluate student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities
- Support the school’s mission to offer inclusive and equitable learning opportunities
