EICK Global STEM Academy is a small childcare program in Monroe, OH. We are professional, creative, and our goal is to develop innovative thinkers and the design process in our students.
We are looking for 2 dedicated and dependable Assistant Teachers who are team players to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our students.The ideal candidates will be comfortable supporting children of varying ages and be available to start by August 10, 2026 .
One is a part-time position; one is a full-time position. Both are year-round (school year/summer camp). Most major holidays off.
Part-Time Schedule: 7:00am - 12:30pm, Monday - Friday
Full-Time Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday
- Free childcare for one child.
- Medical/Dental/Vision available after 60 days for full-time.
- Paid Time Off (FT).
- Sick Days (FT).
- Personal Days (FT).
- Support to earn Child Development Associate (CDA).
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for teaching young children.
- Have the ability to implement creative and engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of all students and promote learning and development.
- Be comfortable working with varying backgrounds and age groups.
- Be willing to step in to assist each classroom as needed.
- Be willing to lead a classroom when the Lead Teacher is absent.
- Have the ability to foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and colleagues.
- A valid CPR/First Aid certification is preferred .
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans for children.
- Supervise and monitor the safety of all children.
- Be responsible for diaper changes and toilet training as applicable.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Organize activities that develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
