Precision Manual/CNC Machinist — HAAS Programmer for Mills & HMCs

If you thrive on taking a drawing and raw stock and turning it into a finished component that nails every spec, this role is for you.

Your impact

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end machining: setup, programming, cutting, and in‑process inspection.
• Program at the control in G‑code and conversational on HAAS machines (circa 2014).
• Cut steel and flame‑cut material using high‑speed insert strategies.
• Read blueprints thoroughly and confirm every requirement is met.
• Check and document dimensional accuracy and quality before job completion.
• Run manual equipment as needed: vertical/horizontal boring mills, lathes, and manual mills.

Must‑haves

• Completion of a formal machining/manufacturing training program.
• 5+ years of manual machining experience.
• 3+ years programming and operating CNC on HAAS controls.

Nice‑to‑haves

• 10+ years across manual machines listed above.
• 5+ years working with HAAS CNC equipment.
• Mastercam knowledge.

Shop & schedule

• Climate‑controlled, clean environment with moving mechanical equipment.
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Overtime offered when possible; never mandatory. No weekend requirements.

Compensation

Pay is based on experience.

• CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) — Fanuc, HAAS
• Horizontal Machining Center (3–4 axis) — HAAS
• CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) — HAAS
• Manual Vertical Mill — Bridgeport
• Manual Lathe

Precision expectations

We routinely hold 0.0005 inch tolerances on in‑house CNC work. You’ll choose the best path to print and deliver right‑first‑time parts.
