Senior IT QA Lead/ Tester - POS Systems

We’re looking for a hands on Senior QA Lead/Tester with strong retail POS testing experience to support a major Order Management project. This role is execution focused — you’ll design tests, run them, validate results, and drive defects to closure while working closely with cross?functional teams.

• Location: 100% Onsite

• Pay Rate Range: $55-60/HR on W2 (NO C2C)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute POS test planning, scenarios, and test cases.

• Validate end?to?end POS workflows: sales, returns, exchanges, promotions, taxes, tenders, etc.

• Review functional/technical designs to understand POS processes and integrations.

• Ensure accurate test data and clear documentation of results and defects.

• Collaborate with application teams to investigate and resolve issues.

• Communicate status, risks, and blockers to leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands?on retail POS testing.

• Strong retail domain knowledge and POS workflow expertise.

• Experience creating test scenarios, cases, and detailed defect documentation.

• SQL skills for data validation.

• Agile and Waterfall experience.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem?solving abilities.
