Business development representative
Job Overview
Grease Gone Pros is a proud veteran-owned business specializing in commercial kitchen exhaust and grease removal services. We help restaurants stay compliant, safe, and spotless—and we’re growing fast across the tri-state area. We’re seeking a driven, persuasive, and self-motivated Business Development Representative to focus on generating and converting leads into new business accounts. This commission-only role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for prospecting, and a relentless drive to open doors and close deals.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential restaurant and foodservice businesses that could benefit from our services
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals
- Attend local industry events, trade shows, or community gatherings to promote our brand (optional but encouraged)
- Initiate contact with decision-makers such as restaurant owners, general managers, and facility directors
- Present Grease Gone Pros’ services clearly and persuasively, emphasizing our veteran-owned values, NFPA 96 compliance, and commitment to safety
- Customize pitches based on the prospect’s needs and operational challenges
Skills
- Able to confidently speak with prospects, craft persuasive pitches, and write professional outreach messages that spark interest.
- Skilled in identifying leads, nurturing them through the sales funnel, handling objections, and converting them into paying clients.
- Works independently with discipline and drive, consistently generating outreach activity and following up on leads without supervision.
- Builds trust and rapport with potential clients, turning cold leads into warm conversations and long-term partnerships.
- Understands the needs of target businesses, analyzes market trends, and tailors outreach strategies to maximize lead conversion.
- Stays focused and professional through rejection, maintaining momentum and continuously pursuing new leads.
- Comfortable using email, CRM tools, or spreadsheets to manage lead pipelines and track outreach performance.
Compensation
This is a commission-only role designed for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and converting leads into paying clients. You’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint across the tri-state area by targeting restaurants and foodservice businesses that can benefit from our commercial kitchen exhaust and grease removal services. The more leads you generate and accounts you close, the more you earn—this role is all about performance and results.
