We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at our 3 construction sites for our sister company BC Crushing & Screening. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a variety of heavy equipment, including front loader trucks, bulldozers, cranes, crushers and screeners and can hold a grade. Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner

- Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance

- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures

- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed

- Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet project deadlines

- Report daily to supervisor the progression of the job.

Requirements

- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment such as front loader trucks, bulldozers, cranes, wheel loaders. Experience with crushers and screeners a plus.

- Commercial driving license preferred

- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment

- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per weeks

• Driver's License (Required) CDL preferred
