Electrical Controls Maintenance Technician ***$38-40/HR 1st shift with OT offered!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with five years of experience as an industrial electrician. The role involves performing planned maintenance on computers, microprocessors, and PLC-based equipment, as well as troubleshooting and coordinating with teams to ensure system efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on assigned computers, microprocessors, and PLC-based equipment.
• Conduct PMs, inspections, modifications, and respond to breakdowns and trouble calls.
• Coordinate with supervision and planning for scheduling downtime as needed.
• Work with crews in all areas to solve problems or troubleshoot inoperative or malfunctioning equipment.
• Maintain records, make reports, update prints, manuals, diagrams, and make recommendations to prevent recurrence of problems.
• Assist in the training of electricians.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years industrial maintenance electrician experience.
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Perform maintenance on PLC-based equipment and their remote hardware.
• 95% electrical and 5% mechanical expertise.
• Proficiency in pneumatics, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Heavy PLC experience including Low Voltage PLC intercommunication within data networking.
• Heavy troubleshooting of VFDs and PLCs.
• Troubleshooting and repair maintenance experience.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs.
• *Does not need own tools but preferred*

This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
