Regional Sales Manager – Nesco Resource
Location: Cleveland, OH Region | Reports To: Vice President of Sales

Role Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager at Nesco, you’ll lead a team of talented sales representatives in your territory and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in your market. You’ll combine industry expertise with leadership acumen to train and develop, drive accountability and revenue growth, expand market share, and ensure your team exceeds targets, all while representing Nesco as a trusted staffing partner. You will work in tandem with local Market Leaders to ensure communication, collaboration and accountability.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Inspire Your Team
Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Business Development Managers to reach and exceed sales goals.
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and implement strategies to maximize team results.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success.
Drive Regional Sales Success
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture new business and expand existing accounts.
Identify market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to adjust strategies and seize opportunities.
Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based selling to key clients and decision-makers.
Build & Maintain Relationships
Serve as a point of contact for clients in your region, building long-term partnerships.
Understand client challenges and position Nesco’s staffing solutions to solve real business problems.
Work closely with hiring managers and procurement teams to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Analyze & Strategize
Monitor regional sales performance, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions when needed.
Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.
Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals; staffing industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Deep knowledge of staffing industry trends, market dynamics, and key stakeholders.
Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the region (MI, MO, OH).

Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and bend or stand as necessary. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally positions self to move boxes or equipment weighing 25 pounds or less. Frequently communicates with fellow employees, clients, associates, etc. Must be able to perceive objects at a distance and up close.
