Associate Director of Sales

Jarrett Logistics is a third-party logistics company headquartered in Orrville, Ohio. Our clients come from a variety of industries (such as automotive, food, and aerospace – just to name a few) but the common denominator is that they ship something. We’re here to coordinate the process between our clients (mostly large manufacturing companies or suppliers) and carriers. To accomplish all of this, our team not only set up shipments for our clients, but they troubleshoot, answer questions, and fix issues before they become larger problems. The Associate Director of Sales reports directly to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, responsible for building, coaching, and driving the performance of a top-of-funnel business development team. For an Associate Director of Sales, a typical day might include the following:

• Setting clear, measurable sales targets aligned with company growth objectives
• Establish and enforce prospecting standards while monitoring pipeline quality
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback, and coaching for career growth
• Collaborate with marketing to sharpen targeting and messaging

• You have a proven track record of developing new clients by picking up the phone and cold-calling
• You’ve sold multiple-year contractual solutions
• You’re comfortable inspecting call recordings and giving direct feedback
