As a **Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Full-Time** in **Dayton, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. **What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
+ Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, addressing inquiries and assisting authorized personnel and visitors as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as outlined for the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols both within the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any security-related concerns.
+ Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, or unusual observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and maintain clear communication regarding any issues encountered during the shift.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
