Electronics Quality Inspector – 1st Shift

Location: Batavia, OH
Pay: Starting at $16.50/hr and up, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:15 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Summary:

QuickPro Staffing is now hiring a Quality Inspector for a leading electronics manufacturer. This position is responsible for performing detailed inspections of electronic assemblies and components to ensure products meet customer and industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, familiarity with electronic components, and a solid understanding of quality processes and IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed product inspections, including in-process line checks and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) monitoring

• Recognize and verify values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole and SMT components (capacitors, resistors, transistors, ICs, etc.)

• Utilize gauging and measurement tools to ensure compliance with IPC and customer specifications

• Reference customer-supplied assembly drawings for component polarity, orientation, and reference designators

• Use bills of materials (BOMs) to identify part numbers and inspection requirements

• Conduct periodic spot checks to confirm adherence to ESD procedures

• Identify various component packages such as MELFs, SOTs, and PLCCs

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in electronics assembly or inspection preferred

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards

  • Proficient in reading assembly drawings and technical documentation

  • Experience using inspection and measurement tools
