Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) -$32-$34/Hourly
Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (HLD)
Location: Dublin, OH 43016
Duration: 13 Weeks (Travel)
Shift: Day | 5x8 Hours (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, rotating weekends, occasional holidays
Block Schedule: No
Completion Bonus: $200 (paid with last paycheck upon contract completion)
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician with strong High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and full SPD workflow experience in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Decontamination, assembly, sterilization (Steam & Sterrad)
- HLD and flexible scope reprocessing
- Instrument assembly across all service lines (including trauma & loaners)
- OR liaison support and sterile storage
- Equipment tracking and documentation using Censitrac
- Handling specialty equipment (Drills, DaVinci, Robotics)
Required Skills & Experience
- Full SPD experience: Decon, Assembly, Sterilization, Storage
- HLD, AER, ultrasonic cleaners, washers/sterilizers
- Flexible scopes (Colonoscope, EGD, Bronchoscope, ERCP, EBUS/EUS, TEE)
- Knowledge of biological/chemical indicators and IUSS
- Acute Hospital OR or ASC experience
Certifications & Requirements
- CRCST (HSPA/IAHCSMM) or CBSPD – Required
- Travel experience required
- Previous OSU travelers can apply
