Cad/cam programmer

We're Hiring: CAD/CAM Programmer (Fabrication & Machining)

WiFAB Solutions, the fabrication division of Welding Improvement Company, is looking for a skilled CAD/CAM

Programmer to join our growing team. This role is vital to supporting our laser cutting and CNC machining

operations, as well as improving our quoting accuracy and throughput.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program laser cutting jobs in TruTops Boost from customer DXF, DWG, or PDF inputs.
• Create 3D models and flat patterns using Autodesk Fusion 360 or AutoCAD.
• Support quoting with simulated cut and machine times from CAM-generated toolpaths.
• Create CAM programs for vertical machining centers (Haas) using 2.5D/3D paths.
• Assist with standardizing setup sheets and improving material yield.

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, TruTops Boost, or similar.
• Ability to read prints and reverse engineer from physical parts.
• Experience in a fabrication or job shop environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with G-code, CNC tooling, and metalworking processes a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork mindset.

Bonus Qualifications (Not Required):

• Experience creating press brake programs for CNC forming equipment
• Familiarity with bend allowance and flat pattern design in TruTops Boost
