Part Time Equipment Operator - Floating

Position Overview

This position is responsible for the daily production of either a batch plant or drum plant to produce quality asphalt for internal customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shift, JSA's, TRACK, etc.)
• Clean inside of cab and remove all trash daily (at the end of shift).
• Haul material in and around the quarry
• Assist in plant maintenance and clean up.
• Drive machine to specified delivery point and move levers to unload materials.
• Safety check of equipment daily.
• Minor adjustments to vehicle as needed.
• Fuel, lube and report faulty equipment to supervisor.
• Operate skid steer as needed to clean at the plants.
• Fill in as needed in any capacity in the quarry and/or asphalt operations.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.

• Must be 18 years in age or older.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Current driver's license is required.

• Previous experience in asphalt plant operation is helpful, but not required
