Who we are looking for

We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and diligent 1st Shift Industrial Paint Prep Technician to join our team in Avon, OH. This role requires an individual who is ambitious, reliable, and eager to be part of a world-class manufacturing environment.

What you will get to do

• Rapidly, precisely, safely, and accurately prepare parts for the next steps in the paint process.
• Clean and prepare parts in preparation for paint or after paint.
• Mask parts for painting according to blueprints, travelers, or other instructions.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Load and unload items from paint booths/drying racks, etc.
• Clean the work area and all equipment used in the process of painting parts.
• Adhere to all procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area.

What you bring to the team

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate basic English.
• Basic counting and math skills.
• Ability to work well under the pressure of production deadlines.
• Dependability and timeliness in your work.
• Ability to understand directions accurately and efficiently perform tasks.
• Strong manual dexterity and physical strength to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a team to achieve flawless results!
