Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist

The Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time (32 hours/week) Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This position supports infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) and their families by promoting development through family-centered, evidence-based practices delivered in natural environments such as the home and community.
As part of a collaborative, transdisciplinary team, the Speech-Language Pathologist partners with families to identify priorities, develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), and support children's communication and overall development within everyday routines. This role emphasizes coaching caregivers, building family capacity, and creating meaningful, functional outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting developmental evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Participating in IFSP development, reviews, and transitions
- Providing direct and consultative early intervention services using evidence-based, family-centered practices
- Serving as a Primary or Secondary Service Provider within a team-based model
- Collaborating with families, service coordinators, therapists, and community partners
- Maintaining timely, accurate documentation in compliance with state and Board requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Ohio licensure
- ASHA CCC-SLP (or Clinical Fellowship eligibility)
- Interest in or experience with early childhood and family-centered practice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families
- Knowledge of coaching models, naturalistic intervention, and IFSP development
