Licensed Independent Clinician

Full Job Description:

Conversations With A Clinician is a growing provider supporting employees and their families across workplace and personal wellness needs. We are expanding our contractor network and seeking independently licensed clinicians to deliver short-term, solution-focused therapy.

This opportunity is structured for clinicians seeking schedule flexibility, consistent referrals, and streamlined administrative support .

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide short-term, evidence-based counseling (6–20 sessions per client)
• Conduct intake assessments and develop goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver sessions via telehealth and/or in-person
• Coordinate referrals for long-term or specialized care when needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and EAP standards
• Participate in optional case consultation

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted license in TX, MD, OH, VA, or WV (LCSW, LISW, LICSW, LMFT)
• Master’s degree or higher in a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience
• Experience with brief, solution-focused modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, SFT, trauma-informed care)
• Active malpractice insurance
• Strong documentation and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior EAP or managed care experience preferred but not required
• Experience with workplace stress, trauma, grief, or crisis intervention
• Bilingual clinicians (Spanish preferred)
• Experience working with diverse populations

Compensation & Structure:

• $55 per session
• 45 minute sessions
• Biweekly compensation
• Flexible schedule (you control availability)
• Increased compensation potential for in-person sessions

Additional Details:

• No compensation for late cancellations/no-shows unless specified by contract
• Independent contractor (1099) role
• Clinicians manage their own taxes and insurance requirements
