Job Description
Our client is seeking a Garage Door Installation Team Member. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related hardware.
Requirements
Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable to possibly drive a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
Safely install garage doors, including hanging doors on frames, aligning tracks, and securing hardware using hand tools and power tools.
Perform heavy lifting to move and position large door panels, springs, and other components efficiently.
Conduct repairs and adjustments on existing garage doors, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance..
Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation skills to finish projects with a professional appearance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues, read schematics, and ensure all work meets safety standards.
Skills
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools and tape measure.
Experience with construction site work, remodeling projects, or similar environments.
Ability to lift heavy materials safely.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site.
