We’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our products through accurate testing of raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, and customer samples. If you enjoy hands-on lab work, solving problems, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform Quality Testing: Prepare and test samples of raw materials and finished products using approved work instructions and testing methods.

  • Maintain Lab Equipment: Clean, inspect, and verify calibration of instruments; support equipment validation and calibration activities.
  • Create Documentation: Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and properly label finished goods and samples to meet identification and HAZCOM standards.
  • Support Product Development: Assist with testing related to new materials, methods, and instrumentation for APQP and development projects.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and participate in improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a Safe, Organized Lab: Maintain a clean, efficient work environment that supports good chemical hygiene and prevents contamination or safety issues.
  • Support Additional Tasks: Complete other duties as assigned by the Lab Supervisor or Contract Tolling Manager.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a laboratory environment (quality, chemical, or manufacturing lab preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, or LIMS systems is a plus
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Opportunity to directly support product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Hands-on, engaging work in a dynamic lab environment
  • Supportive team culture with ongoing learning opportunities
  • Competitive pay and benefits package
Requirements:
  • Associated Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field with two years of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. (If you don't quite have this, still apply!)
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with great math and reading skills, proven written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to learn operation of complicated laboratory equipment
  • Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding visual and physical inspection of product.
  • Ability to concentrate and remain alert while working on highly repetitive tasks.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with little supervision and ability to operate efficiently on a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software Products.
