Eligibility Referral Specialist II - Fraud
Logan County Department of Job & Family Services is seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented and experienced Fraud Case Manager with experience working in Ohio Benefits to join our Income Maintenance Unit.
The primary duties of this position are Case Management and Customer Service. This position will be required to act on suspected fraud reports received internally and from the public. Investigation may be necessary including interviewing, collecting evidence, researching, and using other investigative aids. Maintains complete investigative documentation of all findings to present to and work with the court and law enforcement. Obtains information for caseworkers as it relates to fraud and overpayments, monitors and maintains tracking in our platforms on all Intentional Program Violations, household errors, or agency errors from inception until the case is closed and obligation fulfilled by consumer. The Fraud Case Manager will also be proficient in Ohio Benefits and work system alerts to successfully track case information.
The successful candidate will have a minimum one year of experience working at Job & Family Services as an ERS II. Must have excellent attendance and a positive attitude. Experience as an ERS II or Fraud Case Manager is required. Ability to use multiple computer platforms simultaneous is required. Case Managers also attend meetings, trainings, conferences, workshops, and webinars as needed, and are responsible for data entry on their cases.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary Range: $36,961.60 -$47,881.60. Future pay increases are based on years of service in similar county employment of 4% to 6% annually again based on years of service. We also offer an annual Retention Payment based on years of service from $300.00 - $1,300.00. We have a flexible work schedule to allow a work and life balance. Logan County participates in the Ohio Public Employee’s Retirement System.
