Summary: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

The Accounts Payable Clerk will input vendor invoices into Karmak promptly and accurately.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Organizes daily mail.
• Posts vendor invoices to Karmak.
• Matches receipts in Karmak.
• Completes vendor calls.
• Collects and processes vendor invoices from branches.
• Completes transfers by moving debits or credits from one account to another.
• Completes statement research.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three or more years of accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications is necessary for success in this position.
• Must have a general understanding of accounting software specific to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Must have good attention to detail, and sound decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees and managers at all levels within the company are required.

Physical Requirements:

• Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
