Lakewood Country Club is a premier private club on Cleveland’s west side, known for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our members and their families. During the summer, our pool is one of the most vibrant areas of the club—and we are seeking a strong leader to oversee the food & beverage operation.

Position Overview

The Seasonal Pool Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the poolside snack bar, ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and welcoming experience. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on service, team management, and execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Service

• Oversee daily snack bar operations at the pool
• Open and close the facility, ensuring readiness and cleanliness
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
• Deliver a fun, engaging, and professional member experience

Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, and schedule seasonal staff
• Set clear expectations and lead by example during service
• Ensure team delivers prompt, friendly, and consistent service

Inventory & Facility Management

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Positive attitude with a service-first mindset

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8+ hours)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, sun)
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement during service
• Ability to safely operate food & beverage equipment

Schedule

• Full-time seasonal role (40+ hours/week)
• Includes weekends, holidays, and peak summer hours
