Piping superintendent

Job Title: Piping Superintendent/Foreman

Serve as the primary point of contact for construction pipe fitters, managing daily schedules and communicating assignments to both pipe fitters and project managers. Prepare manpower projections for piping labor on construction projects and coordinate with the service department when technician labor is required. Conduct regular meetings with service and field management to review manpower requirements, productivity, and departmental updates. Report to construction sites and serve as supervisor over pipefitting and plumbing, coordinating with project managers on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Make regular site visits to job sites and respond to foreman questions or requests.

• Return foremen calls and emails immediately.

• Have daily conversations with foremen to receive status updates and determine needs for materials, answers to questions, manpower, etc.

• Ensure that field crews receive what they need, when they need it.

• Ensure foremen know their daily crew assignments.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of General Construction background specifically in Piping or Plumbing.

• 1+ year of supervisor/superintendent experience.

• Desire to work in the field.

• Experience coordinating project teams, managing materials, and planning for job site requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pipefitting background .

• Supervisor experience.

Work Environment

This role is primarily in-field (75%) with 25% in the office for planning meetings and communication with site teams. The superintendent will manage between 5-8 projects weekly. A company vehicle will be provided for use.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chardon, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
