At Sunflower Childcare Substitutes , we’re stirring up a cauldron of warm smiles, silly costumes, and meaningful work. As Ohio’s only homegrown childcare staffing company, we're on the hunt for flexible, dependable substitute teachers to bring sunshine (and maybe a little spooky sparkle) to early learning centers across the state.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Pumpkin Patch:
- Age 18+ with at least 1 year of daycare experience
- High School Diploma or GED (no broomstick license required)
- Reliable personal transportation (you’re kind of like a mobile rockstar—or a friendly ghost on the go)
- Able to pass all ODJFS background check requirements—including BCI & FBI screenings—before hire
- PTO that starts accumulating from Day 1
- Paid holidays plus your birthday off (more treats, fewer tricks)
- Health, dental & vision insurance
- Weekly pay—every Friday, no matter the weather (or full moons)
- Here you're family (and a W2 employee- we take care of everything)
- Have experience with all age groups (infants to school-age)

- Traveling to different programs
- Carrying a State File to follow ALL licensing rules and regulations (provided)
- Monitoring and Supervising Children
- Assisting with ALL children's basic needs as required
- Adapting to each age group based on center needs
- Must be 18 or older
- Have a minimum of 1 year daycare experience
- Clean background check
- Must have Highschool Diploma or GED
- Must have Reliable Personal Transportation
CPR/ First Aid (NOT REQUIRED FOR HIRE) Benefits
