SENIOR LOGISTICS MANAGER

FLEXRACK by Qcellsis an integrated solar company that offers custom-designed, fixed tilt ground mount and single-axis solar tracking systems in the commercial and utility-scale solar mounting industries.FLEXRACK by Qcells also offers full services, including engineering, geotechnical, pullout testing, field, and layout design services to address the actual site conditions of a project site. FLEXRACK by Qcells has completed over 3.5 GW of solar racking installations in over 40 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces and across the globe.
SUMMARY
The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of logistics operations. This role oversees inbound supply, warehousing, outbound shipments to project sites and off-site storage facilities, transportation, and compliance with international trade regulations. Ensures high efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with project schedules. The position plays a key role in managing supply chain risks, improving materials flow, and supporting FLEXRACK’s operations, meeting business objectives, and ensuring logistics team contributes to FLEXRACK’s competitive advantage. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain Management or another management personnel that the CEOof the Company may designate. This position is located inCleaveland, OH and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 30%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee and optimize all logistics operations: inbound raw materials, warehousing, inventory control, and outbound shipments to project sites.
· Manage both domestic and international shipping, including customs/import-export documentation, compliance, and international freight.
· Lead 3PL providers, transportation partners, and carriers: negotiate rates, monitor performance, ensure service levels.
· Establish, monitor, and report KPIs related to logistics performance: lead times, cost per unit shipped, inventory accuracy, delivery on time.
· Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping) to boost efficiency, reduce cost, waste, and lead‐time.
· Collaborate with project management, procurement, operations, supplier/customer quality to align logistics strategy with project schedules and business goals.
· Lead, coach, develop logistics team; ensure staff competence in systems (WMS / ERP), SOPs, safety, and regulatory compliance.
· Manage budget and cost control for logistics functions; identify opportunities to optimize costs (transport, storage, packaging).
· Manage cycle counting and year-end 100% inventory count.
· Close collaboration with Qcells Logistics team to ensure synergistic benefits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
· Experience: Minimum 10+ years in domestic and international logistics/supply chain, customs, import/export regulations, with several years in a leadership or managerial role
· Skills:
o Familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS).
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
o Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.
o Knowledge of renewable energy, solar tracker, or heavy equipment logistics is a plus.
o Experience with solar racking / construction industry logistics or project logistics.
· Certifications:Certifications like Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Logistics Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Lean Six Sigma, etc. arehighlypreferred.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
· This ismostly a managerialrolebased at FLEXRACK headquarters in Cleveland, OH with frequent visitsto Youngstown Torque Tube factory/warehouse and multiple offsitewarehousefacilities.
· Requiressometraveltovendorsites, ports, and fieldprojectlocations.
· Some after-hours/weekendcoordinationisneededwhenprojectdeliveryschedulesdemand.
