Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,250–$2,370/week

Required Qualifications – Med/Surg Telemetry RN

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (medical-surgical nursing, cardiac telemetry experience preferred)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active; nothing pending)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required for submission
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday during assignment
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required

Responsibilities – Telemetry Registered Nurse

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit (telemetry RN duties, medical-surgical care)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; follow safe medication administration practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, cardiology, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
• Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations
