The Lima Family YMCA of Lima, OH is seeking Gymnastics Instructors to join our team for the Summer/ Fall/Winter/Spring sessions.

*Pay Rate: * $11.00 hour

General Function:

Under the direction of the Youth Sports Director, the Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for assisting with the facilitation and instruction of all gymnastics programs. This requires the set-up of heavy equipment, creating lesson plan review and implantation, instructing students of various ages, and updating the parents of student progress. The instructor must provide a safe and non-threatening program for program participants. The instructor will promote the YMCA character values, mission, and wellness philosophy to the program participants.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• Gymnastics or cheer tumbling background -- instructor experience preferred
• Must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
• Should be able to work with children
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA
• Must be able to work occasional weekends
