Patient Care Coordinator

Overview:

Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands in Mentor, OH is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the front office.

Schedule (days/hours): M-TH 8-5, FRI 8-2, SAT 9-2 Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
• Schedule and confirm appointments to optimize the provider’s schedule
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding benefits
• Present treatment plans and discuss financial options
• Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and team members

Qualifications:

• Previous dental or healthcare front office experience preferred
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing practices is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling software

Compensation: $18-$22/hour About:
