Shift + Hours: DuPont Schedule (12-hour rotating shift)

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Quality Control Lab Tech , you’ll be at the forefront of our innovation by ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of all analytical testing that supports our products, customers, and manufacturing operations. You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of scientists, engineers, and operations partners to deliver sustainable solutions that advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished goods while following all SWP and SOP requirements.
  • Prepare laboratory reagents, standards, and solutions with accuracy and precision.
  • Document results in lab notebooks, SAP, and LIMS to ensure complete data integrity.
  • Communicate test results promptly to operations and cross‑functional partners.
  • Troubleshoot out‑of‑specification results and support root‑cause investigations.
  • Execute testing related to customer complaints, discrepancies, and investigations.
  • Assist with instrument qualifications, method validations, and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized laboratory environment, including proper chemical disposal.
  • Support the development or revision of SWPs, SOPs, methods, and reports.
  • Train new team members on laboratory procedures, safety, and testing methods.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Associate degree in Chemistry or 5 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing laboratory
  • Minimum education: HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience with one of the following analytical techniques:
  • physical property testing
  • wet chemistry
  • advance instrumental analytical techniques
  • Highly self-motivated individual, focused on providing high quality laboratory data in an efficient manner, while exhibiting excellent workplace skills
  • Solid background in Microsoft Office and computer-based instrument control systems for analytical equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make competent, independent, decisions in a timely manner to ensure excellent progress on assigned tasks
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple and or changing priorities with minimal to no supervision
  • Must possess the ability to interact effectively and professionally with internal customers, external customers, vendors, and various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
  • Industrial chemical manufacturing laboratory experience
  • Analytical experience with advanced instrumental techniques like GC, LC, ICP, and NMR
  • Analytical chemistry experience
  • Experience with LIMS and SAP QM modules
  • Experience with proper usage and administration of Lab notebooks / elog notebooks
  • Experience with root cause problem solving techniques and tools
  • Experience with Statistical Quality Control methodologies
  • Experience working in ISO9001/14001 environments
  • Experience with internal auditing
