Duties

• Operate and maintain equipment to perform street repairs, paving, and plowing, etc.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of all city streets.
• General housekeeping and maintenance of Street Department buildings and grounds.
• Assists in installing safety barriers, signage, and traffic control devices.
• Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of construction practices and site safety procedures.
• Ability to operate machinery or learn to operate machinery confidently.
• Ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid Federal CDL, or must obtain within 1 year of employment.
• Ability to work well with other employees.
• Ability to attend classes/seminars.

Pay: $41,358.66 - $45,161.56 per year
