Senior Strategic Accounts Manager
The Senior Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) will spend the majority of their time dedicated to growing Gentherm Medical business by focusing on the IDN account management/growth strategy and working with designated 1099 partners in promoting Blanketrol® capital/disposables, Gentherm patient warming solutions (including support for SourceMark’s private label branded Kozee product line) and localized warming/cooling product lines. In addition, the Senior Strategic Account Manager will assume GPO contracting responsibilities from RFI, RFP to contract award/maintenance for (1) Domestic GPO – Vizient, Premier or Healthtrust.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive growth through increased penetration within targeted Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN)
- Work with 1099 partner groups on a regular cadence (weekly field rides) to ensure there is consistent lead generation feeding IDN level growth opportunities
- Lead high level product demonstrations in collaboration with 1099 partners
- Assist with product conversions to support 1099 partner groups
- Provide VOC to Marketing team to assist with product roadmap discussions and potential enhancements to current portfolio of products
- Provide ongoing training to 1099 partner groups to ensure they have a high level of product knowledge and selling competence for Gentherm products.
- Develop a network of potential 1099 partner groups to serve as replacement options in the event of performance issues associated with current partners
- Seek new GPO awards for current/future product categories and own the process from RFI, RFP to contract award/maintenance for (1) Domestic GPO – Vizient, Premier or Healthtrust
- Seek alternate channels for growth
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or closely related field.
- 12 or more years of experience in Medical Devices field sales
- 3 or more years of experience managing complex sales process, including GPO and IDN level contracts
- Vendor credentials to include, but not limited to GHX, Vendormate, Symplr
- Proficiency in utilizing relevant customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cross functional skills to deliver GPO level agrements
- Outstanding communication and leadership presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Intermediate skill level or above in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters, Business Administration
- Thermal Management experience
- Previous experience managing 1099 rep groups
