Ryder is hiring a CDL A or B Local Straight Truck Driver in Grove City, OH . A local truck driving job typically consists of transporting freight within a 200-mile radius, allowing the driver to complete their deliveries and return home the same day. Compensation:

• Weekly Pay: $932+
• Hourly Rate: $23.32
  • 40-45 hours per week
• Bonuses
  • Sign on Bonus: $5,000, paid $2500 at 30 days and $2500 at 90 days
  • Safety Bonus: Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
  • Unlimited driver referral bonuses
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home daily
• Start times 4:45 AM - 6:00 AM
• Monday – Friday OCCASIONAL SATURDAY
• Route: 100 Mile Radius of Grove City, OH
• Freight: Touch – Cable Boxes
  • Manual Dolly, Pallet Jack

Equipment:

• 26' Straight Truck
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL B License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Grove City, OH
