Job Title: Manufacturing/Robotics Engineer - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Program robotic systems including material handling, welding, and Cobot units to ensure efficient operation.
• Develop and implement optimal weld processes for automated systems, making programming updates as needed.
• Monitor all processes for efficiency, suggest improvements, and develop procedures for consistent output.
• Assist production with preventive maintenance and repairs of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues; develop short- and long-term solutions.
• Remove waste and non-value-added time from weld processes to improve productivity.
• Create system operation guides and train operators on best methods for operation and quick touch-ups.
• Own automation OEE reporting to track performance metrics.
• Develop standard work instructions and job aids to support process consistency.
• Define best-in-class processes and identify equipment needs to meet company objectives, including weld automation and fixturing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in robotic welding system programming.
• Familiarity with Fanuc Roboguide programming software.
• Basic MIG welding skills or understanding of related principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on robotic systems.
• Experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa robotics preferred.
• Related experience in measuring and improving OEE performance.
• BS degree or AS/ASS with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of programming robotic welding systems.
• Physical ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for up to 10 hours per day.
